In the secondary distribution of luxury brand items, the authentication and quality assessment (referred to as "authenticity verification") is crucial and performed by experts with specialized knowledge. However, few transactions include authentication certificates, requiring verification for each transaction, leading to a shortage of experts relative to the required authentication workload. Additionally, even when authentication certificates are issued, there are challenges in widespread adoption due to the possibility of swapping actual products with certificates.
Under these circumstances, APRE aimed to improve the efficiency of authentication operations while considering the provision of new services leveraging their high-level authentication technology.
Solution
APRE evaluates the condition of luxury brand items that meet their authenticity standards using ranks and quantitative values, issuing grading reports that visualize these results. By utilizing the GAZIRU Individual Identification Service, they realized the "TAL Grading Report Issuance Service" that enables management linking grading reports with product images.
